If you're interested in high-quality screen printing mesh, we encourage you to explore Keller's offerings. We offer a wide selection of products, including the aforementioned meshes, screen printing lines, and screen printing frames. We encourage you to order SAATI mesh from us (the distributor), which allows for quick, precise, and durable prints. These products are highly recommended and will prove useful in any printing house or printing company. We will tailor all product specifications to your equipment. We tailor each order individually to our customers' requirements to ensure the best user experience. We manufacture screen printing meshes using aluminum, steel, or wooden frames, guaranteeing high durability and optimal performance. Aluminum screen printing frames are the best solution on the market. If you value corrosion resistance and need screen printing meshes for small-format printing, our offer is tailored to your needs. Steel frames are characterized by low cost and excellent mechanical strength, while wooden screen printing frames are lightweight and ideal for mounting fabrics. This allows us to select the best option for each client, both in terms of durability and cost-effectiveness.

1. Screen printing meshes

Screen printing meshes, as fundamental elements influencing print quality, must be properly selected, in addition to being well-made. The selection of screen printing mesh depends on factors such as:

  • Mesh count – this is the number of threads per centimeter, which is crucial when passing ink through the screen printing mesh. The mesh size changes depending on the number of threads, and therefore their number, which directly affects ink consumption and application. Meshes should not be too large, as this prevents excessive ink leakage, but too small is also inadvisable, as they slow down the application process.

  • Thread Diameter – The thread diameter is measured in microns. For finer details, a smaller diameter will be appropriate, but it may be less durable than a larger diameter thread.

  • Mesh thickness – this is determined by the thread diameter, mesh size, and weave structure. Screens are typically made of synthetic mesh – polyester or nylon. However, there are also steel meshes used in heat applications, such as ceramic inks.

2. Screen printing frames

The frame forms the outer boundary of the screen, maintaining the required rigidity. Frames are made of steel, aluminum, or wood, depending on the customer's needs.

type of frame

benefits

defects

aluminum frame

– light
– does not corrode
– ideal for small and medium formats

– high cost
– not very resistant to acids
– wide cross-sections

steel frame

– heavy dead weight
– long-lasting
– low cost
– good impact and bending resistance

– with large formats the frame is not ergonomic
– possibility of corrosion.

wooden frame

– low production cost
– light
– good surface for attaching fabrics

– constant contact with water leads to warping
– short durability
– maximum A0 format
